Institute Agenda for Educators, Partners & Parents/Guardians

8:30-9:30 a.m.	Registration + Coffee + Light Breakfast
9:30-10:30 a.m.	Welcome & Setting the Stage
10:30 a.m.-Noon	Session 1: Sustainability Spotlight Session School and GEAR UP Kentucky staff are partnering up to share their experiences and best practices in the following areas: GEAR UP-4-Success Curricula Delivery \| Robertson County School ACT Prep/CERT \| Mercer County Senior High School K-12-Postsecondary Partnership to Support College Application & Transitions \| Fleming County High School, MCTC GEAR UP 4 Advising \| Augusta Independent School FAFSA Support \| Marion County High School
Noon-1:30 p.m.	Awards Luncheon Students of the Year Outstanding Educators of the Year 2024 & 2025 FAFSA Frenzy winners 2024 College Application Campaign winners
1:30-2:00 p.m.	Session 2: Student Ambassador Council Panel Featuring current GEAR UP Kentucky high school seniors and first-year college students
2:00-3:30 p.m.	Session 3: Sustainability Planning Session Begin building a college-going culture sustainability plan in real time - in collaboration with current and former students.
3:30-4:00 p.m.	Closing Activity+ Snacks

CELEBRATION and SUSTAINABILITY are the words of the day for this event, which is designed to enable participants to:

Recognize and celebrate students, participating schools/districts, partnering postsecondary institutions and agencies, and GEAR UP Kentucky staff for our hard work and accomplishments over the past 7 years;
Learn from one another about best practices in creating a college-going culture; and
Collaborate with a group of staff and students to begin building a district-specific sustainability plan.
